To register as a full time band member as part of the Jamboree Service Team
The Jamboree Band will be an integral part of the next National Scout Jamboree and you can be a member. Scout musicians from across America will supply music for ceremonies, events, concerts, arena shows and entertain many thousands of scouts and visitors to National Jamboree. The band instrumentation will be traditional concert /marching band with a variety of subgroups and ensembles. Repertoire includes popular and patriotic music, marches, and pep band tunes. Scouts and scouters, Ventures, and Explorers ages 16 and above will make up the band. Young adult staff ages 16 - 33., and adult staff age 34 on up. You need to play a high school level. Band members will be accepted according to ability and instrumentation. The band will also help with special events and provide service as needed. This is a full time staff position. Jamboree staff and attendees will have the opportunity to ” Sit-In” with the Band on several occasions.
